COURSE INTRODUCTION

ABC College of English 50+ programme offers the opportunity to learn English, experience New Zealand's spectacular natural scenery and New Zealand's culture. This special programme combines a morning programme of General English lessons with a variety of afternoon cultural and sightseeing activities.

Course Duration: 2 - 4 weeks (Oct. - March)
Course Start Date: Any Monday
General English Classes: Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 12:00 (15 hrs/ week)
Afternoon Activities: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons

  • GUIDED WALK AROUND QUEENSTOWN
  • GONDOLA RIDE TO BOB'S PEAK (enjoy the magnificent view overlooking Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and its surrounding mountains)
  • VISIT ARROWTOWN - A HISTORIC GOLD MINING SETTLEMENT & MUSEUM
  • LAKE CRUISE ON STEAMSHIP EARNSLAW AND FARM VISIT TO WALTER PEAK SHEEP STATION
  • KIWI BIRD PARK VISIT
  • LOCAL VINEYARD & WINERY VISIT
  • MAORI CONCERT
  • NATURE WALK
