Unique to ABC College is our student accommodation.

95% of our students stay in our Student Residence, Shotover Lodge. It is apartment style living, with a communal kitchen and lounge. It is a place where ABC College of English students can mix and socialise with domestic QRC students to continuously improve their English skills.

Shotover Lodge Accommodation.

ABC College of English is able to provide affordable accommodation for students at our Student Residenc.

Located in picturesque Arthur’s Point, at the base of Coronet Peak ski field and a short 7 minute bus ride into the centre of Queenstown, Shotover Lodge offers studio-style apartment living. Each room has either a balcony or patio with outdoor furniture, a sofa, coffee table and colour TV.

Note: Most rooms are set up as single rooms with a king sized bed, however, if you're coming with a friend who is also studying at ABC College, we can set the rooms as a twin share, with two single beds.

Other shared areas include our fully equipped commercial kitchen and our spacious guest lounge. The lounge features a pool table, fireplace, couches, television and dining tables.

How does the laundry work?

Laundry facilities are a low price of $4 per wash and $4 per dry. Other shared areas include our fully equipped kitchen and our spacious guest lounge. The lounge is decked out with a pool table, fireplace, couches, television and dining tables.

An unlimited internet allowance is included as part of your stay.

Homestays remain a popular option with international students as a way in which to engage conversational English outside of taught lessons, and to experience their time in New Zealand from a ‘kiwi’ perspective. We offer homestay but it is subject to availability.
