Students studying at ABC have access to range of support services to help ensure that they have a great time and experience with us.
The pastoral care of our students is of primary importance to us.

The Student Services team are accessible directly through reception on Level 2 of QRC House.

For any student services matter, you can: speak to one of our ABC Teachers, come to the Reception Desk and ask to see our Student Services Manager, or email studentservices@qrc.ac.nz.
Some of the things we can help with are:
- Getting support for personal or academic concerns
- Opening bank accounts
- Accommodation queries
- Addressing bullying, harassment and discrimination
- Financial issues &/ or advice
- Course changes and extension requests
- Holistic health and wellbeing promotion
- Supporting healthy relationships

What is the code of practice and why is it important to your wellbeing?
As signatories to the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International learners) Code of Practice 2021, we assume a responsibility to support and enable students’ wellbeing so that they can achieve academic success.
Effectively implementing the code requires an organisational wide approach and an important aspect of this is hearing and responding to the student voice.
